The weight is not always the actual weight of an article. The weight of an item in our shop is charged based on the volume weight to calculate the shipping costs. e.g. A lamp which is 180cm long, weighs real e.g. 10kg. Due to the length of the product the volume-weight is 30.0 kg. If the volume-weight is higher than the real weight, it always counts the volume weight. The weight is for European customers unimportant, which orders will be shipped over land and not by aircraft for international customers.
